Throggs Neck Volunteer Ambulance Corps, an all-volunteer service founded in 1979, provides free emergency care and transport to the area of Throggs Neck and Pelham Bay, which includes Throggs Neck, Alden Park, Edgewater Park, Locust Point, Ferry Point, Silver Beach, Spencer Estates, Country Club, Waterbury/LaSalle and Scuyler Hill. 

TNVAC provides training to volunteers, including CPR/AED, first aid, oxygen therapy, blood-borne pathogens and weapons of mass destruction. 

Over the last 30 years, TNVAC has responded to more than 25,000 ambulance calls.
