The Brooklyn College Emergency Medical Squad, founded in 1977, serves the Brooklyn College Community, Midwood High School and PS 152.  BCEMS maintains its own radio system, equipment and ambulance.  More than 100 volunteers, former or current Brooklyn College students, staff the BCEMS. It provides services without charge.
