Founded in 1956, Midwood Ambulance & Oxygen Service is the oldest, private, family-owned medical transport business in Brooklyn.  In 2006, it relocated to a 45,000-square foot building with enough room to house their fleet of 65 ambulances.  Midwood offers BSL, ASL, specialty care transport, critical care and special events stand-by. 

The ambulances are equipped with many of the high-tech medical equipment used in emergency rooms: Cardiac monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, medications and a state-of-the-art telecom system.
