Jamaica Estates Holliswood South Bayside Volunteer Ambulance Corps, founded in 1973, provides first aid, emergency care and hospital transportation for patients with medical emergencies in central Queens, including the communities of Jamaica, Briarwood, South Bayside, Queens Village, Windsor Park, Hollis, Hollis Hills, Holliswood, Jamaica Estates, Jamaica Hills, Windsor Oaks, South Jamaica, Hilltop, Kew Gardens, Oakland Gardens, Bell Park Gardens and Cunningham Heights. 

JEHSBVAC has two ambulances staffed by New York State-certified emergency medical technicians.

The Corps also offers equipment loans, including crutches, walkers, wheelchairs and canes, and CPR courses for local residents.
